WINDOW, BROADWAY TOWER

Broadway Hill, Worcestershire — 8 April 2009

‘Built on an ancient beacon site, Broadway Tower has a colourful history as – amongst others – home to the renowned printing press
of Sir Thomas Phillips, country retreat for Pre-Raphaelite artists, notably the artist, designer, writer, craftsman, and socialist William Morris, location for the studies of the distinguished archeologist Sir Arthur Evans, and farmhouse’

Broadway Cotswold England UK Tourist Guide and Directory of Information for Locals pretty much says it all.

I visited Broadway and Broadway Tower one Easter on my way to stay in Hay-on-Wye. It gets a bit breezy on top, being one of those places from where you can see about fifty counties.
