BUSKER OUTSIDE THE CENTRAL LIBRARY IN CARDIFF

The Central Library, The Hayes, Cardiff — 1984

‘From occasional bands on the Hayes to lone musicians picking out a tune under the footbridge by City Hall, Cardiff’s buskers come and go with little fuss‘ — David James, South Wales Echo

Ah, the joy of sax.

Just a guy busking outside the Central Library (now the Old Central Library) in the Hayes in Cardiff.

It was a Saturday, so presumably, judging by the lack of any visible fuss, Cardiff’s store owners must have paid him handsomely to drive people off the street and into the shops.

That’s jazz for you.
